Farewell, Belle of the Literati

I'm baaaaack! If you've been around here awhile you know this blog has been quiet for about a year. I found more passion with Instagram and writing shorter reviews and this spot that was home for so long became silent. I've recently got inspiration back and the first thing I wanted to do was give this space a fresh, clean look. I'm biased but I'm obsessed with this new look. Along with a fresh look I debated and then decided to change the name to xoxo, Kelly Nina to match all my social media handles. It was such a hard decision to make because now I must bid adieu to my original blog name, Belle of the Literati. The name was inspired by the phrase Belle of the ball and my favorite and beloved Disney character who is me in cartoon form. It was a tough decision to say goodbye to the name but it also felt like it was time.


I must pay homage to this name and place that was such a welcoming home for so long. I started this blog 8 years ago and have so many wonderful memories, blog events, book discussions, and friends made. I will forever love and hold dear the name Belle of the Literati but it's time to move on. My blog has always been first and foremost a place for books but I've since moved beyond the pages and into travel posts and life updates. A name that represents just books didn't fit my focus anymore.
