Goodreads Description

A charming British Playboy. A girl determined to finally live. And a secret liaison revealed in all too vivid color. Book two in the NYT Bestselling series.

Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon's moved to New York City and is looking for excitement without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night's fun. But the manner--and speed--with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger.

The whole city knows Max Stella loves women, not that he's ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it's not until Sara--and the wild photos she lets him take of her--that he starts wondering if there's someone for him outside of the bedroom.

Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

The Belle

You guys. I love this book. I love this series and if you like sexy, sarcastic, and fun you need to be reading these. This will be a quick mini-review because if I allow myself to go on we’ll be here for at least a few pages. Beautiful Stranger is a companion novel to Beautiful Bastard (which I also adored!) and this story follows Max and Sara.

First of all, I fell head over Topshop heels in love with Max Stella. The accent, the humor, the wit. Seriously y’all, this guy had swag for days. His descent into falling for Sara is raw and dirty yet at the same time sweet and adorable; I couldn’t get enough of this man. Sara is a girl I really found myself relating to. Her broken heart made me so sad for her and how poorly she was treated. She wanted to break free from her “good girl” persona and be wild and fun. She had both ends of the extreme in her and this is what I loved about her. Max, at times, found her contradicting in a spontaneous way but I totally understood where she was coming from. Nobody is all business or all fun all the time. We all have those aspects to our personalities and I just found myself really connecting with Sara’s inner monologues.

The relationship dynamic in this story is unique…to say the least, and I loved it. I loved that Christian and Lauren explored a completely new and different side of people’s fantasies and sexuality. Where they went wasn’t easy and I commend them for going there because I have yet to read about anything like they did. Kudos!

The cameos of our favorite original couple are amazing. I will take as much Bennett and Chloe as I can get my hands on. I’m also EAGERLY and impatiently anticipating Beautiful Bombshell and Beautiful Player…AND BEAUTIFUL BEGINNING!! Ghaknxcvklwaeoriu *keyboard slam* I love these books. I adore these characters. I sweat over the sexytimes. I want more, more, more!

The Beast
Uh...nothing comes to mind. The sex was hot. The characters lovable and hilarious. And a man with an accent...what's not to love?

Should You RSVP to the Ball?
