My Thoughts
Ok. Quick and dirty. The Brotherhood is amazing. I am serious when I say you are missing out on some absolute amazingness if you have not read these books yet. Go do it.
I love Quinn. I have been waiting for his book for a long time. His broken soul calls to me. I want to snug him. I want to be his best friend. I just adore him. He is loyal and fierce and brave and beautiful. The treatment he has endured at the hands of his own family makes my heart break. He is his own worst enemy at times but his progression to try and be a better male is beautiful. I can’t spoil anything but I will say that stuff that happens to him (good things actually, for once) made me cry. I can’t say more. Nobody deserves it more than him though.
Qhuinn and Blay. Hot damn, somebody run me a cold shower. I am serious. Not to sound like a pervert but I never knew male on male action could be so freakin’ hot! Their relationship broke my heart at some points because both these boneheads didn’t know when to speak up and explain things to save their lives. SO frustrating! I wanted to smash their skulls together and just scream ‘LISTEN’ at them. Neither listened or explained so we were at a damned dead end for quite a while…*sigh*…
Beyond the romance the Black Dagger Brotherhood story continues to twist. The Band of Bastards is still causing trouble but you guys! Xcor… I want him to be redeemed! I cannot TAKE what he tried to do to Wrath but I want to love him. I want him to take back and fix what he did. I want him to find love and understanding. I’m telling you, these broken soul scarred face mother fuckers have my number and they get me every time. Everyone deserves love and when people think they are unworthy of it, I immediately want to prove them wrong. I really want to see something happen to make him repent and just fix everything that happened in the past.
Assail is another new character in the mix. Another cold shower for me. This guy is HOT! His desire for Sola and their dynamics had me fanning myself. It is also totally unhealthy because I am only hoping, wishing, and praying a random huge, sexy, irresistible vamp comes out of nowhere and sweeps me off my feet. Hey, a girl can dream, right?! Trez’s storyline is also really interesting. It adds another element of mystery to the ever expanding world of the vampires. I want to know more about the Shadows and their Queen and where they come from and what rules they play by.
I love these books. I can’t get enough. And I’m actually a little depressed I have to wait until MARCH to get the next book. How do the rest of you do it?! I want it now!!

Oh, these two. THESE TWO!!! They've killed me for so long and FINALLY their story is here...and they continue to slay me. But holy crap, they're hot together! We can be pervy together, lol In a not weird way, of course. I also want Xcor to be redeemed, and I'm guessing he will at some point, but not before a good amount of drama. Bring it, Warden!
