Top Ten Tuesday! Best Romances...*sigh*

Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! This week I get to gush all about my favorite romances *sigh* It was reeeeeally hard to narrow it down and to save me and you a lot of time I just listed them because I could talk for hours about why I love these. So short blurbs or we'd be here forever :)

Historical

1. Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville--Ok, so I'm cheating right off the bat but if it wasn't for books we would never know about them...sooo I'm including them! Edward IV was King of England in the 1400s and fell in love with Elizabeth Woodville, a widower with 2 sons mind you, at first sight when she was standing on the side of the road as he rode past. True story. Seriously. I'm telling you, you cannot get a better story or plot than from stuff that actually happened. 

2. Sir Richard Woodville and Jaquetta of Luxembourg--Seriously. These two are amazing. She was a Duchess and after her first husband, a Duke, died, she fell in love with and married his squire. *sigh* She broke all the rules of aristocracy and married for love in a time that love was never considered. They had a dozen kids and their daughter became Queen of England. Well...and a lot of other not so good stuff happend too, but still. Their love story is standalone amazingness. 

Dystopian

3. Alex and Lena--Oh. Em. Gee. Delirium ripped part of my soul out. These two. THESE TWO characters make my heart bleed. They are just amaaaazingly perfect together. Alex literally taught Lena how to love. How is this not one of the best love stories ever told. C'mon man. Dying. 

4.. Tris and Tobias--If you've read Divergent, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Tris and Tobias are just amazing together. I remember reading it for the first time and my heart was just pounding with excitement for them.

5. Gaia and Leon--Gaia is so strong and fiery and Leon loves her for it. He brings out the best in her and wants her to be strong and independent. They are just perfect and I love love love them :) 

Fantasy

6. Hector and Elisa--Um, Hector. Swoon, swoon, faint, swoon, faint. Oh my gosh. I cannot even begin to go into how much I love him and how much I love him and Elisa together. They are just too perfect as well. 

7. Akiva and Karou--This one is a bit more tricky. SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ------>I mean, how can you not root for love that was so obviously lost and then found again. It breaks my heart to know things turned out at one point and I am crossing every finger and toe and limb I have they can get their shit together and works things out. 

8. Jace and Clary-- This is another oh em gee moment. I cannot get enough of these two!! Especially in the first 3 books. I totally thought I was going to have a heart attack while reading. The banter. The fights. The make-ups. The agony. Gah!! It was all too much but oh so worth it in the end. City of Glass...goodness. Pass the tissues. Too many feelings. 

Contemporary

9. Adam and Mia-- I won't tell you which couple I had to cut to fit these two in but I did. After reading If I Stay and Where She Went, there is not a list in this world I will not include these two on if we are talking about love stories. Oh my gosh, I die. I just can't. These two make me wanna give away hugs but also crawl into a corner and cry. Too much. Love love love.

10. Hazel Grace and Augustus Walters--Yeah....that's all I got. I can't even talk about them. Can't. Won't. They're amazing. That's all.
