I Got The Music In Me--Book Blogger Love-A-Thon Mini-Challenge #3

Oh my gosh! I am SO excited that this was one of the topics to post about! I have been thinking about adding what song a certain book reminds me of at the end of my posts but it doesn't always happen with every book. A lot of times I'll be driving and a random song with come on my iPod and I'll be like hey! that reminds me of such-and-such book!! SO I don't have a lot but here are a few standouts of songs that TOTALLY need to be soundtracked into these books!

1. Take a Hint by Victoria Justice--Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, Warner and Juliette's relationship, this song is so hilariously true that you have to go listen to it

2. You Found Me by The Fray--Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, Adam and Juliette's relationship, one line does it for me specifically

3. Toxic by Britney Spears--Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi, Warner and Juliette's relationship...no really, look up and lyrics and read the words...epic!

4. How To Save A Life by The Vitamin String Quartet--If I Stay by Gayle Forman, pretty self-explanatory for those who have read it

5. Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran--Where She Went by Gayle Forman, I don't know it just fits for me with their story at that moment

6. You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift--Hallowed by Cynthia Hand, Christian to Clara...Yeah, I went there

7. Follow Me Down by 3Oh!3--Splintered by A.G. Howard, sorry had to rip off the movie soundtrack, it was just too good to pass up

8. Run The World by Beyonce-Code Name Verity By Elizabeth Wein, for reals, Queenie and Maddie totally run the world, badass bitches in the house

9. All You Need Is Love by The Beatles--Delirium Trilogy by Lauren Oliver, yeah I went there, I love these books as you can tell by my reviews, love is worth fighting for and sometime's its all you need :)

10. Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran--Delirium Trilogy by Lauren Oliver, ugh I DIE at these lyrics, they are so beautiful and poignant and I just think of Alex and Lena in Delirium...sigh

11. Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson--City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare, no spoilers, if you've read it you know what I'm talking about.

12. Power by Kanye West--Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, down with President Snow

13. Red by Taylor Swift--The White Queen by Philippa Gregory, reminds me of the relationship between Edward IV and Elizabeth

14. I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift--The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory, totally makes me think about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn

15. Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars--The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Katniss and Peeta's relationship...love love love

So I know I am totally forgetting about 20 songs that I know I have said pertain to books but alas, that's all I can think of right now. Hope you guys enjoy! I'll be face palming for the next hour look at everyone else's going, why didn't I think of that?!? <3

    1. She does! Her personality sucks major but her music rocks pretty hard. I actually had all her songs open on my iTunes and just read the titles waiting for book inspiration to hit me haha. And YOU saying I have a quality list is probably the best compliment EVER! I am beyond flattered!

  6. I can see Taylor Swift with The Other Boleyn Girl, I haven't finished reading the book yet but when I saw that you paired the two I started visualizing one of those fan made videos on youtube for the movie.
I wonder if I can find one.

  7. Ohhh, I should have thought of Taylor Swift! I could have described ALLLL the bookish relationships with her songs haha. Though I am obviously not a fan of Warner, the Victoria Justice song made me laugh so hard! That was brilliant! And I adore You Found Me <3
