My Life in Books (7)

So, like some of you may know I was in Toronto this past week! So much fun! I got to hang out with one of my very dear friends who lives in Australia so it was just so nice to see her and vacay for a week :) BUT did you know that the World's Largest Bookstore is located in Toronto??....NEITHER DID I!!!! But now I do and I've been there!! So, remember when I said I wasn't buying anymore books due to the holiday coming up? Yeah, that went right out the window when I discovered this store...oops. So inspired by memes from  Books, Biscuits and Tea with Showcase Sunday, The Story Siren with In My Mailbox and Tygna with Stacking the Shelves here is my book haul for the week!!!

The Statistical Probably of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

Rec from Jamie, heard great things about it! And I need to read much more contemporary young adult! I'm trying to get into it so I think this is a great start!

Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

Again, heard this book was amazing!! Had to snatch it up! Can't wait for this Peter Pan re-telling...eeep!!

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

Loooooved The Raven Boys!! Again, Jamie raves about this and can't wait to get my grubby little paws on this :) Maggie's writing is brilliant!

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

Soooo, like we all know I am a huge sucker for high fantasy. This book sounds just epic and it looks beautiful...oooooh I can't wait to read it!!

So, because I was in Toronto I felt it completely plausible and necessary to have to buy a book that took place in Toronto. Got this rec from the awesome peeps at HCC Frenzy. Again, fantasy but takes place in Toronto and it sounds pretty awesome. Any character that gets to have wings I'm pretty much immediately drawn to...sue me, I want to be an angel :)

I got approved for another NetGalley book!!! Yay!! English aristocracy, underdogs, beautiful wardrobes...eep!! Excited to get into this one!
