Happy end of May y'all! I've been so fortunate to be spending the most of May in San Diego and I am LOVING it! Anyways! Historical fiction has always been one of my favorite genres since I was a dorky teenager and couldn't get enough stories about World War II and Anne Boleyn. So without further ado, here are my favorite old school hotties :)
So...the video cut off BUT let me know if there are any topics you want to do for Book Bangin'!! I'm open to hearing what you guys want to do! Let me know!
Book Boyfriends Mentioned
Richard Woodville from Lady of the Rivers
Dom from The Boleyn King & The Boleyn Deceit
Thomas Wyatt from Tarnish
ALEXANDER from The Bronze Horseman & Tatiana and Alexander
Hot Men of the Month
Gray from UNRAVELED (yes, there's the title, I'm a moron)
Nash from Nash (haha)
Don't forget to add your link below!
I bought the book "Bronze Horeman" because of you. You raved about it so much that I just had to buy it. I cannot read it just yet because my TBR pile is just astronomically large but I do plan on getting to it soon. Hopefully before the end of summer. I'll be sure to keep you posted as to how it goes.
ReplyDeleteOhh so many things to say. Firstly - I suck bc I've missed so many book bangins but I'll try to remedy that next month! Also - omg are we getting to the end? must need more suggestions to keep this going!! Anyway, back to historical men -- umm i read historical fiction all the time when i was younger! I like wanted to transport myself back in time and it's funny that your focus was so on tudors bc yeah, I freaking loved that era! Btw, I got the boleyn king way back when you prob talked about it in another book bangin post and I must read it soon!! ohhhh alexander!!! I need to read the next. my friend that I convinced to read bronze horseman is currently reading the 2nd! aren't you proud of my pushing skills. :) unraveled! I got it because of estelle's review too! i want to read it!! I also need to start the marked men series -- i honestly don't know why i haven't bc umm hello, hot men and tattoos? i'm all over that.
ReplyDeletealso -- you're on my coast now! how long are you going to be in san diego for your job?
You look so cute, Kelly! I still haven't done a Book Bangin' video, but I may just do an EPIC one where I catch up on everything I missed...
ReplyDeleteConfession: I have not ready any of these books! I'm not big on the Historical Fiction genre, but you definitely make me want to try! I think I'll have to start with The Bronze Horseman - your obsession with it is infectious! Don't hate me but I tried reading Nash (and the first book in that series) and I just can't get into them! There's something about the author's writing style I can't connect with. :/
ReplyDeleteSome ideas for future topics - military, men with scars, athletes, different personality types (funny, quiet, tortured past, etc). As long as this thing keeps going. :D
Sadly, I have read none of those books *hangs head in shame* but I do love the Historical Fiction genre, so I did manage to come up with a list of my own. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteFor future topics: The quiet ones, Guys that make us laugh, The chameleons (guys we hated at first, but then came to love), First crushes (guys from books we've read as kids), etc. :)
