Skin Deep {1}

A lesser known secret about me is I love skin care products. I suffer from not the greatest natural skin and am always on the lookout for new products to try. My skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts if I don't keep up with a skincare routine, so I love hearing about what works for other people and trying out new stuff! I thought it would be a fun feature/post to talk about what skincare products I'm loving at the moment and ask you what your favorites are, too!

Cleanser--Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser // I know I've talked about this before on my Kiss List but I'm still loving it! It doesn't suds or remove makeup which weirded me out at first but I can't deny my skin loves what it does. I rarely have breakouts when I use it consistently and I love how it feels after using it. It's moderately priced at $15 which I LOVE because I think you can get great makeup and skin care for reasonable prices, if you know where to look.

Toner--Thayer's Witch Hazel in Lavender // Hannah started using this and told me about it because she loved it AND it was available at Target AND it's pretty cheap at $11 for quite a lot of product. I love the smell of this and like that it's supposed to not only clean pores but tighten skin. That remains to be seen but I'll keep using it in hopes!

Face Mask--Origins Charcoal Maks // I found this on my own which I'm super proud of because I tried a sample of GlamGlow's charcoal mask and fell in love...then went to buy the full size and realized it was $69 for a small contained. Hell to the f'ing no on that one. So I started creeping around the store and found this Origins brand at a fraction of the cost, $25! Not super cheap but it lasts me a long time! I do this deep cleaning mask once a week and my skin feels squeaky clean after using, it's like I can feel how deeply it was cleaned and how much gunk was cleaned out. Absolutely love it!

  1. That mask sounds like something I want to try! I found a mask at the grocery store of all places to try; it smelled so good and I'm loving it! Freeman's Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Facial Mask. I'm also a big fan of Yes To products, which are at Target. I've been using the Yes To Carrots Cream Cleanser and it makes my skin feel so soft! They have nice masks too.

  2. I've never tried the charcoal mask before, but it sounds like it would be great on my skin! I've been doing a variety of TonyMoly face masks, which I really enjoy :)
