Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere // Quebec City, Canada

While Montreal was not my cup of tea, Quebec City was fantastic! About a 2.5 hour drive north of Montreal, Quebec City is an city enclosed by a stone wall-not sure if I'm saying that correctly but it is true for the most part. I think it's made of stone but I digress.

My day included the drive, a quick stop at Montmorency Falls for some photos, and then exploring the upper and lower portions of Quebec City. For this post I decided to focus more on photos than text because to be honest, I don't have a ton to say because I didn't do a whole lot in Quebec City minus walking around. It might sound lame but take a look at the photos below and you'll understand why I spend a good 4 hours just walking around this beautiful city.
Montmorency Falls

Shopping in lower Quebec City
Notre Dame Cathedral
Holy Door at the Notre Dame
Chateau Frontenac
Shops of upper Quebec City
Streets of upper Quebec City
But to give you some direction, my destination highlights of the city were the Notre Dame and the Chateau Frontenac, the most photographed hotel in the world. Those were the highlights of my day for sure! Besides those two places, just enjoy wandering through shops and up and the brick paved streets.

Don't forget to post on Instagram with the hashtag #WanderlustWednesday! It can be anything--a throwback travel photo of a place you've been, a Google image of where you want to go, an inspirational quote, a travel themed trinket you have, anything that inspires your wanderlust.
