Her Halloween Treat
I was super excited to read this as Tiffany Reisz is one of my favorite authors. I seriously buzzed through this book, it was so good. In this short novel, Tiffany brings us the feels AND the sexytimes when we meet Joey and Chris. After finding out her boyfriend of 2 years was actually married, Joey goes home to attend her brother's wedding pissed off and heartbroken. She finds an old high school friend and BOOM sparks are flying! Per usual, the sex scenes were combustible. They were so hot yet intimate and the hint of a little dominance and BDSM was not lost on me, I see you Tiffany and I like what I see. The setting was in Portland the image of the landscape was breathtaking. I want to book a cabin yesterday...do they come with a hot lumberjack? If yes, then sign me up for a month. But seriously. I loved the history between Joey and Chris. I usually don't go for a romance where the hero and heroine already know each other by as we learn in this book, everything has rules and all rules have exceptions. I loved their shared history and deep bond with one another. It made everything so scandalous and sexy and intense all at once. I am definitely a fan of this series already and it definitely got me in the holiday mood and spirit! Reserved Seating
Her Naughty Holiday
This book was amaziiiiing! Once I started I could not put it down! The setting is, once again, beautiful in my head. I want vacay there ASAP. Clover was my favorite. My absolute FAVORITE!! There are SO many similarities between her and I it was almost scary. I could relate to her in so many different ways, she was incredible. Clover runs her own plant nursery and her assistant is a 17 year old young woman who got in trouble with the law for a little bit of ecoterrorism. She. Is. Hilarious. I may have lied, I loved Clover but Ruthie was phenomenal! Her dialogue and one-liners and how she talked to her father, Erick the hero of our story, was on another level. It was so, so, so, so funny! Clover and Erick were hot, hot, HOT! Holy hell, it was so hot! These lumberjack-esque man are soooo my vibe and I loved these two together. More than that he respected her and worshipped her and was so completely honest with her it was crazy refreshing to read. I loved how they supported and rooted for one another. Clover's family is a bunch of assholes and how that all resolved was so freaking on point and hilarious I was grinning like an idiot. I would so totally read this again this holiday season and in future years to come. Reserved Seating
One Hot December
This book didn't do it for me. Rarely do I ever say this but the heroine did not work for me and honestly, neither did the hero. I found the romance immature, the dialogue corny, and the banter contrived. I love banter. I love sass. I love quick-wit. I don't love when a character can't take a breath to be serious ever and then bitch about why their love interest doesn't understand them. Um, maybe because you need to take a note from Dr Seuss and say what you mean and mean what you say. Not my fav. I hate saying this about a Tiffany Reisz book but skip this one. Read the first two, as you can see above I loved them to pieces, but this one was not for me. Standing in Line Outside
