I love love stories. They drive a lot of what I read and what I will enjoy when I read. With Valentine's Day approaching I thought it would be fun to put together a few posts recommending my favorite love stories of all time so if you're looking for a great, swoony romance to read during this day of love, I hope to help you out. I thought I would do a top ten; then I started writing down my favorites and it kind of got out of hand. I had 27 when I finished so I divided them up--it worked out really well actually--into categories. Stay tuned next week and you shall have:

Epic Romances

My favorites among favorite. These couples go against great odds and sometimes sacrifice a lot to be together, sometimes they don't. These are love that have struck a massive chord within me and stayed with me long after the final page.

The Struggle is Real

The forbidden romances. Two people that shouldn't be together or aren't allowed to be together. These are always extra delicious to read about especially when things fall into place.

Tales As Old As Time

These stories are inspired by my favorite love story of all time, Beauty and the Beast. Give me a scarred, broody man any day of the week. He's mine! 

Sexy Times For The Win

These are mostly contemporary romances where the banter, dynamic, and sexy times are always a win.

Granted, a LOT of the books I highlight overlap but I tried to divide them up evenly...ish. My goal is to celebrate love and love stories and sexy times. I know a lot of people like to read winter or Christmas stories in December so I'm hoping some of y'all are looking for some literary romance in your life, be you single or attached, everyone needs an extra a little love in their lives.
