I don't give a shit what happens in the rest of the book, I just NEED these characters to be together/okay
So there you have it. These are my top ten books for people looking for character driven novels and while most of them have amazing plot content, at the end of the day I don't care. I just want the characters to have a happily ever after...The End.

There are a ton of characters and I can honestly say I love every single one of them...fuck, I hope they all make it through this series.

I still need to read a Jojo Moyes book!! EEE. Also, I plan to start The Bronze Horseman sometime in the next month or so because of you! I bought it when it was cheap on Kindle and it's time I think. I also have Sea of Tranquility and Just One Day on my list. Thinking of binge reading the Laini Taylor series in December! I hear the writing is amaaaazing!
ReplyDeleteHah, so as I was reading your post Kelly and composing a comment in my head, I scroll down here and see Jamie has written basically the exact same thing! :) I think The Bronze Horseman will be my next purchase; I hope to get to it soon but my Master's program is getting in the way of things a bit. I've also had The Sea of Tranquility on my next up list because of you and Hannah. I think I might try The Daughter of Smoke and Bone as well this month for something kind of spooky. (I don't like REAL scary reads, demons is about as close as I like to get!)

ReplyDeleteI love your TTT, K! Seeing your thoughts just made me even MORE eager to read the books I haven't yet on this list (which is quite a few, but I SWEAR they're on the TBR). They also made me smile or want to reread when I read the ones for the books I HAVE read - Just One Day, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Ignite Me - mostly because I felt the same way!
