So I decided to do things a little differently this week for TTT hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. I didn't want to narrow it down to one genre, go figure, so I decided to break it down into my top two favorite genres at the moment. I've been loving fantasy and historical fiction, I mean I ALWAYS love those genres but I've been more drawn to them as of late. So I'm recommending my top five favorite fantasy and historical fiction books if you have not read anything or a lot from these two categories. I can only hope you read them, love them, and enjoy them half as much as I have :)

ReplyDeleteI've only read Harry Potter from your fantasy list but all of the others are on my TBR so hopefully I can get to them soon :) Actually I just added The Girl of Fire and Thorns tonight because of a rec on another ttt list, so a double hitter!!! Really should bump that one up on my tbr!!!
ReplyDeleteI have only read CNV but I absolutely agree with that recommendation, it was AMAZINGGGG. I'm listening to the audiobook right now actually and it's remarkable. I really want to read The Bronze Horseman though after both yours and Hannah's recs, it sounds amazing!!!!
Fantasy and Historical Fiction are 2 of my 3 favorite genres (the other being contemporary). I have read all of your Fantasy recommendations and loved them (with the exception of Girl of Fire and Thorns which I have to continue because apparently it gets better) And I loved The Book Thief and Code Name Verity (have you read Rose Under Fire) so I need to read your other Historical Fiction recommendations! :)
